Educational Opportunities for Dental Professionals

PerioHealth Seminars is now offering four educational opportunities for dentists. The Implant Study Group and the Westside Study Club are both local (Houston area) groups dedicated to short, focused courses to advance the quality of multidisciplinary implant therapy, patient care, and doctor satisfaction.

The PerioHealth Institute for Advanced Dental Education offers multi-day in-depth courses. These courses, incorporating real-patient surgical and prosthetic hands-on experiences, are designed for the discerning professional interested in dedicating several days to expanding his/her clinical acumen and skills.

Drs. McGuire and Scheyer developed the Michael K. McGuire Practice-Based Clinical Research Fellowship in 2009. This fellowship is designed to offer periodontists a focused learning experience in practice-based clinical research, periodontics and implant therapy. This one to two year fellowship is ideal for the recently graduated periodontist seeking further education prior to entering practice.  You are encouraged to send your resume if you have an interest in this partially funded fellowship. A Texas Dental license is suggested, but not mandatory.

All events are taught by providers approved by the Academy of General Dentistry for CE crediting.
